on mother's day weekend, the fam came to visit. it just so happened the maya had a baseball game (so great to watch), the M's were in town (too bad they're horrible) and it was mother's day (and i got to celebrate the best). some photos from the weekend to follow.

the perfect day for a ball game. this was after maya's team had a close match but couldn't quite seal the deal. we raced the bases afterward. it's been YEARS, literally, since i have run the bases.

we went to eat at our new favorite place, the honeyhole, on the 700 block of pike. they make mouth watering hot sandwiches. see exhibit b above: the bbq brisket. to die for.
